Albuquerque, NM – The Mick Rich for U.S. Senate campaign today called on Democrat Senator Martin Heinrich to denounce fellow Democrat and corrupt politician Michelle Lujan Grisham and demand she step aside as a candidate for New Mexico’s highest office.
“Time and time again, Heinrich takes cheap political shots against Republicans while holding his Democrat allies to different standards,” Mick Rich for U.S. Senate spokesman Mike Lonergan said. “Heinrich needs to denounce Lujan Grisham’s corrupt dealings and demand she step aside as a candidate for our state’s highest office. New Mexicans deserve a senator that will fight for the whole state, not just one political party.”
According to recent news reports, Lujan Grisham and her Democrat ally Debbie Armstrong founded and ran a company that has received millions of taxpayer dollars that was supposed to provide healthcare to New Mexicans in need – even after Obamacare effectively made their services obsolete.
According to these reports, Lujan Grisham has received as much as $350,000 from the company, and possibly even more, and has also taken more than $10,000 in campaign contributions from Delta Consulting.
Martin Heinrich continues to attack and denounce Republicans to score political points. Just a few weeks ago, he attacked the President’s nomination of Gina Haspel – now the first woman to lead the Central Intelligence agency – even after voting in favor of Democrat Barack Obama’s nominee that supported similar policies.
Last month, Heinrich called for the director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to resign amid allegations of scandal.
In 2017, Heinrich denounced former Texas Governor Rick Perry, now the U.S. Secretary of Energy, as “utterly unqualified,” and voted against his confirmation.
